The Utica Zoo

About The Project

This project I hold near and dear. Being a Utica native I have always loved The Utica Zoo. I was contacted by The Utica Zoo as they were in need of an updated site. I met with Andrea and Daniee on a couple occasions as we started to discuss and develop a plan of action for the project. I was taken right away by the closeness of the team that runs our zoo. Everyone on the team had input and everyone else listened. The team indicated that they wanted to be able to update the site on demand, as well as be able to change up the design as needed. Daniee Hurlbert, the Communications Director for The Utica Zoo, took control of the project and we got started. As time went on, I soon discovered Daniee’s passion for design. Through this understanding, I focused on the development of the site, while Daniee focused on the design. Daniee and I continue to work together to improve the site, implementing new ideas or features that Daniee feels would make the site even better to suit the needs of The Utica Zoo.

Peter Barone
CNY Creative Concepts

“Coming from a not for profit, I know the power of having an online presence to the success of an organization. This is why when the Utica Zoo decided to have a new site built, it was important that we chose someone who we could count on. Peter not only built us a great site that is user friendly and able to keep up with changing design trends, he also was and still is available with any support we may need. His ongoing support is what makes him really stand out from the rest. He is not the type to just build a site and run. Peter has always been there to answer any questions or make changes as they come up and he is always quick to help. With in-depth design skills, web knowledge, and unbeatable customer service, CNY Creative Concepts really offers the total package in web design.”
